Regional Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic Region

Sungage Financial is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region, consisting of NJ, MD, DC, NYC and Long Island. The ideal candidate will have consumer financing sales experience, stellar communication skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. S/he will be adept at presenting to, training, and providing outstanding support to solar installation company owners, managers and professional sales people. S/he will contribute to our impact by listening and gathering feedback on business needs, helping partners best utilize our offerings, and informing the development and refinement of our products and services to help our partners meet their sales objectives. This job will require long hours, creative thinking and weekly travel to support partners within the region. If you think you are the right person, you will need to have a proven track record of success, examples of how you made it happen, and prove that you have been successful in an unscripted environment.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivating and developing new and current relationships with business owners and sales reps for adoption and use of Sungage products.
  • Establishing a sales strategy by installer, state, and region.
  • Developing accurate and growth-focused sales forecasts.
  • Managing 50+ Accounts.
  • Teaching in-person sales training in a group environment.
  • Identifying new opportunities that will contribute to unprecedented growth.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales objectives.

You’re the right person if you:

  • Possess a degree in Sales, Marketing or Business and/or a minimum of 3 years related experience in Account Management.
  • Excel in an ambitious, competitive and team-oriented environment.
  • Share a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, changing start-up environment.
  • Are highly organized and process-oriented.
  • Are motivated and driven to self-manage a demanding travel and training schedule
  • Believe in our product and vision and embrace unconditional friendliness.

  • Have extensive solar industry and market knowledge.
  • Demonstrate previous business to business experience.
  • Possess the ability to proactively prioritize and resolve client concerns.

Candidates for this position may reside anywhere in the territory, including NJ, MD, DC, NYC and Long Island.
